I'm sure I make many grammatical and spelling errors but try hard to follow 'accepted' conventions. I don't see 'laziness' as a reason to accept the evolution of language; "l8r" is like looking at graffiti on a work of art, (and I don't mean of the "banksy" persuasion!) words to describe 'new' things are necessary but not by violation of existing words. I also dislike the use of acronyms beyond those of Latin foundation.

I did try the "backup to a friend" for a short while which is completely free. Father in Law backed up his data to my PC, however upload speed was too slow and he didn't have his PC on enough so it never actually completed so we went for the local USB option. However whenever I go to his house the USB disk is sat on top of the PC it's backing up :-/
Will people ever learn?

I agree it’s a fantastic tool. Easy to use and great price too. It’s got me out of the mess a few times. However I'd use it more if the BlackBerry app wasn't so poor. The last time I used the app it constantly took all the memory, which on the BB is not in abundance at the best of times. I have not revisited it recently so it may have been improved.

I agree, Evernote is a great application and very useful. Reminds me of this equally astounding video which you probably have seen.
