Just riffing on team coordination & dynamics influencing outcomes. I saw this on Mike Gotta's Collaborative Thinking blog...
http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/CollaborativeThinking/~3/fcQ34JQ0E9U/feeling-the-heat-the-effects-of-performance-pressure-on-teams-knowledge-use-and-performance.html
My impressions is that it also seems to ring true. There is a lot of personal facets/character traits and group dynamics that are more influencial on teams than the mediums and technologies they rely upon to meet and work together.
As a culture we tend to think that technology/science can help overcome/resolve/compensate for these 'inconvenient' behaviours. But as you've probably already discussed somewhere else on the blog, this is probably approaching the issue in the wrong direction.
I don't think it that everyone is completely ignorant of these issues, it's the application & practice in real time/under pressure that's hard to pull off.
Makes me wonder if there's a gap in the market for some sort of behaviour coaching/collaboration software? Or am I going in the wrong direction again?

Hi Graham,

Just riffing on team coordination & dynamics influencing outcomes.
